Safe Deposit Agreement (SD 2)
Information Relating to the Renter form (SD 1)
Each Renter (or Joint Renters) was required to complete an Agreement that specified the Conditions under which the Safe was rented. Each Agreement was individually numbered and referenced to the Renter's Bank records. A copy of the Agreement (reproduced below) was handed to the Renter - the back of this document detailed the Conditions of the rental.
When the Safe Deposit Department was established in 1933, the Names and Address of the
Renter(s) were recorded on Form SD 1. The basic information on this form was later expanded
to include the renters' signature(s) and a record of annual rental payments.
