TAKING DOWN, ETC
The greatest possible care to be exercised in taking down the undermentioned items.
The Contractor to be entirely responsible
for any damage to property or injury however occasioned by reason of the carrying out of the works.
Such of the bricks as are
suitable may if approved by the Architect be broken to the required size and used for concrete. All other materials to be at once
recovered from the site as well as all rubbish and debris.
The Contractor is to include in the prices of the following items
for all propping, shoring and supporting the existing adjoining buildings, etc, as may be necessary or as directed by the Architect.
The
taking down is measured as now seen and all foundations, etc, are to be grubbed up and removed as described in Excavator Preliminaries.
Take
up all derelict drain, water or other pipes, etc, on the site.
Take up and cart away all broken concrete and brick rubble left
on the site by Demolition Contractor, generally clear up and tidy up and prepare for new works.
