All steelwork to be of British manufacture and to include one coat of paint before erection.
The iron
castings to be cleanly finished free from sand holes, and other blemishes and of approved manufacture.
The wrot iron in Smith's
work to be of the best quality wrot in a sound and workmanlike manner and when fixed must be free from defects.
All bolts to
be complete with necessary nuts and washers and to be dipped in boiling oil before use.
No metal windows to be fixed until the
carcase of the building is complete.
The steel framework of the building will be erected independently after the necessary foundations
have been put in and no work must be proceeded with which will interfere with the speedy erection of the steel skeleton and until
same has been lined up.

all cutting, bending and fixing in position, embedding in concrete and for wire and wiring together in shuttering etc.
