PLUMBER.
PLUMBER.
 
The whole of the Plumbing to be executed by experienced Plumbers approved by the Architect.
 
The materials and workmanship to be of the best quality.
 
EXTERNAL.
 
The sheet lead to be new and best English milled of the respective weights specified.
 
The prices for leadwork to include for all labour, solder and space copper nailing.
 
CAST IRON GOODS.
 
All to be of 3/8" metal and to be obtained from an approved manufacturer.
 
RAINWATER GOODS.
 
Rainwater goods to be with ears cast on, socket jointed in red lead fixed 2" clear of walls with galvanized nails cast iron distance pieces to and include hardwood plugs and inserting into facing bricks.
 
SOIL AND WASTE PIPES ETC.
 
Sail and waster pipes to be with ears cast on socketted joints run with molten lead and well caulked, fixed 2" clear of walls as before described to Rain Water Goods.
 
INTERNAL.
WATER SERVICES.
 
All to be carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of the Water Department.
 
All pipes and traps to be of even thickness and full specified internal diameter.
 
All pipes to include for all length joints (unless enumerated) solder, wall hooks, clips and brass screws to wall or grounds, and fixings.
 
All connections to cisterns, tanks etc., to include the necessary brass unions, soldered joints, drillings, connections, long screws, back nuts etc.
 
Test the whole of the Services and Sanitary Fittings as may be directed by the Architect, and leave in a satisfactory condition.
 
The Water Services to be solid drawn copper water tubing all in accordance with the British Standard Specification with screw joints and gunmetal sockets and fixed to wall with holderbats all to include short lengths and connectors.

SANITARY FITTINGS.
 
UNLOAD, UNPACK, RETURN EMPTIES, STORE, HOIST, ASSEMBLE AND FIX ONLY THE FOLLOWING and include for all necessary joints and setting and fixing materials (connections to taps, waste and flush pipes elsewhere measured).

    9        Lavatory basin 22" x 16" complete with white porcelain towel rail, pair brackets, chromium plated taps, waste and chain.
    3        Pedestal lavatory basin 27" x 22" complete with chromium plated pillar taps and waste, pair of small angle wall brackets
              and include for screwing brackets to and inserting plugs in glazed tiled walls.
    2        White glazed Cleaner's sinks 18" x 15" x 10" with pair cantilever brackets (cut and pin brackets elsewhere measured).
    1        White glazed sink 24" x 18" x 10" with pair cantilever brackets.
    1        Ditto   30" x 18" x 10" with pair of cantilever brackets to glazed tiled wall.
    1        Oval shaped pewter lined sink 18" x 15" bowl with small side drainers, waste chain and pair cantilever brackets to ditto.
    1        Teak sink 30" x 18" x 10" with waste chain and pair of cantilever brackets to ditto.
   10       W.C. suite complete with pedestal pan and trap with single flap mahogany seat, white porcelain flushing cistern and brackets,
              chain and handle complete.
    3        Ditto do. wash down pedestal pan and trap with half box rim and mahogany seat and cover, white glazed low down cistern
              and brackets white glazed porcelain enamelled steel flushing pipe india rubber joint all complete fixed to glazed tile wall.
    1       White porcelain parallel bath with pair of ¾" Chromium plated pillar cocks, waste, plug and chain.
    2       Two stall glazed urinal 4' 0" high with ends and division, bottom channel, copper sparge pipe and porcelain enamelled
              automatic cistern and pair brackets (sinkings left in floor for same).
    4        ½" Gunmetal taps and joint to copper pipe.
    2        ½" Chromium plated taps         do.
    2        ½"   Ditto   do.  with wall mount to glazed tile wall and do.
    4        ¾"   Ditto  pillar cocks and joint to copper pipe.
 
DOMESTIC HOT WATER to be solid drawn copper water tubing all in accordance with
