The whole of the work to be carried out in strict accordance with the regulations of the Birmingham Gas Department.
The whole
to be carried out in Wrot iron welded tube with screwed socketted Joints in red lead and fixed with clips and screws.
All pipes
and fittings to be painted one coat red oxide before fixing.
Unload, unpack, hoist, store and afterwards assemble and Fix only:-
1 gas copper (10 gallon)
1 gas cooker (Note:- the provision for these
is included with that of the grates.)
Execute the following:-
2" Connection to Gas Main.
6" Connection from main to No. 3 Boilers.
Hoist and fix the following on the second floor:-
1 Standard
black finished combined gas and electric oven range with hot plate over containing three ovens with gas and electric
connections 7' 0" long, 2' 4" wide and 3' 0" high over all.
1 Ditto gas carving table and hot closet 4' 0"
x 2' 6" x 2' 9" on cast iron leg supports with back skirting and gas connection.
1 Ditto gas heated wet steam
oven 18" x 18" x 24" high inside with gas and water connections.
1 Nickel plated gas heated tea, coffee and
milk set consisting of water boiler (5 gallon) on short brass legs and gas heated coffee urn
(2 gallon) and gas heated milk urn (2 gallon) and all gas and water connections on galvanised steel stand 5' 0" x 2' 3" on legs.
1 Ditto electric hot plate 2' 6" long, 1' 3" wide and terminals and flex.
